The special program "The Impersonations That Are Too Detailed to Understand," featuring the comedy duo "Tunnels" Takaaki Ishibashi and "Untouchable," will be broadcast on Fuji TV's "Saturday Premium" slot (Saturday 9:00 p.m.) on December 7. The program has been broadcast as a winter tradition once a year since 2018, but since last year it has been broadcast twice a year, in summer and winter.

The show also shines a spotlight on nerdy impersonations and underground acts that are considered too "detailed" to be funny. Since both professionals and amateurs can try it, it has produced many new popular comedians. Also, the show's innovative system of "the stage breaking just before the end of the act, causing the comedian to fall from under his feet and disappear" has brought a new way of enjoying impersonations to television.

This time, familiar veteran impersonators and unconventional newcomers have won the grueling nationwide auditions. While the regulars show off their stable "surefire" acts, the newcomers perform completely unexpected and surreal impersonations. Ichikawa Sashimi of the previous year's champion comedy duo "Soitsu Doitsu" will be trying to win both the summer and winter championships for the first time.
