It has been announced that Yamaguchi Kappei and Kosugi Jurota will appear as voice actors in the movie "Cute High Earth Defense Club ETERNAL LOVE!", which commemorates the 10th anniversary of the anime "Cute High Earth Defense Club" series. They will play new characters in the movie, with Yamaguchi playing the adorable AiAi and Kosugi playing Death Amor, whose appearance and identity are currently unknown.
Yamaguchi commented, "This is my first time participating in 'Binan Koukou Chikyuu Boueibu'! It's a story about boys transforming into magical girls to protect the earth? And I was called to play a monkey-like role? I was waiting to see what the story was about, and it wasn't like I was playing a monkey, it was really a monkey ahhhhhhh (laughs). AiAi has big, round eyes. He's not only cute, but he also has a secret. I was happy to be with Mugito, the wombat, all the time. I had fun doing the dubbing, thinking about what I'd try and do. And now it's 'ETERNAL LOVE!', so please look forward to everyone's eternal love!"
Kosugi said, "The first thing I thought was that when I went to high school half a century ago, no matter how much I wanted to, I couldn't even apply to this school. There's nothing you can do if you're handsome. I poured that frustration and emptiness into this role. I hope everyone enjoys it to the fullest."
The CD jacket for the theme song for the movie, "Eternal Love Is Life," sung by the 24 all-star characters (22 cast members) of the series, was also released. It features 24 characters.
