It has been revealed that the scene in Disney Animation Studios' latest film "Moana 2" (released December 6th, directed by Dave Derrick Jr. and others), in which the main character Moana sings the song "Beyond ~Let's go beyond~", will be broadcast for the first time in the world on "Friday Road Show" (Nippon TV, Friday 9pm) on November 22nd as part of the previous film "Moana".
The scene to be broadcast is the scene in which Moana sings the song "Beyond ~Let's go beyond~". The song expresses Moana's conflict and hesitation as she grows into an adult and sets out on a voyage filled with danger that she may never be able to return to her loved ones, as well as her determination to believe in herself and set sail for a new destiny.
"Moana 2" is the sequel to the previous film "Moana" produced in 2016. Three years have passed since the previous film, and Moana learns of a legend that says "if she can reach the island at the end of the ocean, the curse will be lifted." She decides to take on the great mission of being a "guide" who comes once every 1,000 years and connects all the seas, and sets off on a dangerous voyage. The film depicts her embarking on another adventure with Maui, the demigod who adventured with her in the previous film, and new companions. China Yabiku will voice Moana in the Japanese version, as she did in the previous film.
