The NHK morning drama series "Kumkum Everybody" (112 episodes in total) for the second half of 2021 will be rebroadcast on General TV from 12:30pm to 12:45pm Monday to Friday from November 18th (also available on NHK Plus). Prior to this, a special program will be broadcast on the 13th to 15th.
The special program "Understanding Kumkum Everybody from Zero!" introducing the outline and highlights of the series will be broadcast on the 13th, and the special program "Kumkum Everybody: Your Top 10 Most Memorable Scenes" (Part 1 and Part 2), based on a survey of "Your Most Memorable Scenes" conducted in October, will be broadcast on General TV from 12:30pm to 12:45pm on the 14th and 15th. The cast will include the first heroine Mone Kamishiraishi, the third heroine Rina Kawaei, and Takahashi Shigeo of the comedy duo "Savannah," who is a big fan of the series.
"Kumu Kum Everybody" is the first morning drama in history to feature three heroines in a 100-year-old family story. Produced by NHK Osaka, the story is set in Kyoto, Okayama, and Osaka and follows three generations of parents and children - a grandmother, mother, and daughter - who have lived together on a radio English course. Kamishiraishi takes on the role of the grandmother, Yasuko, Fukatsu Eri plays the mother, Rui, and Kawaei takes on the role of the daughter, Hinata.
