Actor Fujioka Mamoru stars in the TV drama series "Wingman" (TV Tokyo and others, Tuesday midnight 12:30). The synopsis and stills from the fourth episode, which will air on November 12, have been released.
On the advice of new teacher Kitakura (Miyano Mamoru), Kenta (Fujioka) decides to start up an "Action Drama Club" with Aoi (Kato Konatsu) and Miku (Kikuchi Himena).
Kenta is in high spirits after welcoming new club member Momoko (Uehara Amane), who loves special effects, but Aoi gets kidnapped by Kitakura.
Kenta transforms into Wingman and fights using all sorts of techniques, but Kitakura smiles with confidence and says, "I want to feel the power of Wingman for myself."
The drama is based on the manga of the same name serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) by Masakazu Katsura, who is known for "Video Girl Ai" and "I"s." The story follows a high school student who gains the power to transform into "Wingman" through the "Dream Note," a book that can make anything written come true, as he fights assassins alongside a mysterious beautiful girl who falls from the sky.
