It has been revealed that voice actors Tachibana Hina, Kito Akari, Tomita Miyu, and Hitsujimiya Hina will play the main characters in the music project "M Gakuen (tentative title)" by the creative team "MARUMOCHI from HoneyWorks." Tachibana will play Kurita Rin (Kuririn), Kito will play Saejima Maki (Ejimama), Tomita will play the older twin sister Udagawa Homare, and Hitsujimiya will play the younger twin sister Udagawa Tomare. Visuals for each character have also been released.
The first song, "Suki no Barebare" by Kurita Rin and Saejima Maki, will be released digitally on November 20th.
The project is set in Shinjuku and tells the story of Kurita Rin, a genuine idol otaku, who is asked by Saejima Maki, a fellow otaku she met on social media, "Why don't we make a birthday celebration video together?"
Gom from HoneyWorks commented, "The newly launched M Gakuen (tentative title) not only tells the story of Kuririn, Ejimama, and the Udagawa sisters, but is also an ensemble drama where you can enjoy the interactions between the various characters who become involved in the activities of the four. We've already started working on a lot of songs and we're really looking forward to what's to come. Be sure to check them out."
Kaoru from MARUMOCHI said, "As we progress with the song production, the personalities and stories of the characters are starting to take shape, and we ourselves are getting excited. In fact, we are currently planning for Hanon and Kotoha to try their hand at voice acting in this project. We hope you will look forward to seeing what kind of characters they will be. We hope you will enjoy M Gakuen (tentative title)!"
