"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase (1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living welling up from your whole body, depicting how these two, who were once nobodys, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In episode 101, " Te no Hira wo Taiyou ni ni), a song written by Takashi ( Takumi Kitamura) with lyrics and melody by Takuya (Motoki Omori Motoki), was introduced on "Minna no Uta" (Everyone's Song) and became a popular song among children. Meanwhile, Takashi is told by Yagi ( Satoshi Tsumabuki) to stop running away and start drawing manga. He tries to draw manga for the first time in a long time, but his brush just won't move forward, and he hits a wall as a manga artist.
