The 20th episode of the TV anime "Witch Watch," based on the popular manga by Kenta Shinohara currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), entitled "The Stray Wolf and the Passing Cat," will be broadcast on August 17th in the MBS/TBS Sunday 5pm anime slot.
Keigo can't unleash his great powers unless he sees a crescent moon. Nico asks Keigo, who looks a little lonely, to become the user of the "flying magic" sealed within the ring. Keigo begins training, believing that if he can master it, it will become a weapon. One day, while Keigo is training in secret, Nemu approaches him.
"Witch Watch" is a manga by Shinohara, known for "SKET DANCE" and "Astra Lost in Space," which began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in February 2021. It is a fantastical "magical" comedy depicting the cohabitation life of Wakatsuki Nico, a girl training to become a witch, and her childhood friend, Otogi Morihito (Morihito), a high school student with the powers of a demon. Morihito is tasked with protecting Nico from a prophesied disaster as a familiar, and so begins a mysterious and arduous journey. The anime will be directed by Ikehata Hiroshi, known for "Kiratto Pri☆Chan," and produced by Vibury Animation Studio, known for "The Quintessential Quintuplets ∫∫."
