"Omusubi" (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00am and others), the NHK morning drama starring Hashimoto Kanna, will air in the second half of 2024. On October 26th, they will look back on the fourth week, "My Sister and I" (October 21st to 25th). The NHK announcer Takase Kozo will be in charge of narration.
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" in which the heroine, born in 1989, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist, with a "gal spirit" that values her individuality at all times. It is an original work by screenwriter Nemoto Nonji, known for NHK's drama "Shojiki Real Estate".
The theme song is "Illumination" by "B'z". The story will be narrated by illustrator and actor Lily Franky.
In the fourth week, the return of Yui's older sister Ayumu (Naka Riisa) from Tokyo quickly becomes known, and the Fullmetal Alchemist members show up to Yui's house, but Ayumu gives a cold response.
Yui is angry at Ayumu, and when she is alone at the harbor, she reminisces about her childhood when she lived with her family in Kobe.
As the Itoshima Festival approaches, Yui becomes more and more enthusiastic about practicing the Para Para dance with the Fullmetal Alchemist members. On the day of the festival, it is time to perform the dance, but she is so nervous that she makes a mistake at the start and is confused.
Even so, the other Fullmetal Alchemist members try to encourage Yui as they dance... and so the story unfolds.
