It has been announced that the TV anime "Salaryman Goes to Another World and Becomes One of the Four Heavenly Kings," based on a manga currently being serialized on the web manga site Comic Gardo, will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and BS11 from January 2025. Additional cast members have also been announced, with Hoshino Takanori playing Sylphid, one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon King's army and an expert in magical techniques; Hieda Nene playing Genome, another of the Four Heavenly Kings and the leader of a unit made up of demi-humans; Morinaga Chitose playing Oruru, the daughter of the Ogre tribe chief; and Tsukui Ayafumi playing Neia, a mysterious girl who comes to Uchimura for help.
The series is based on a manga written by Benigashira and illustrated by Muramitsu, and tells the story of Uchimura Dennosuke, a boring salaryman who is summoned to another world one day and scouted by one of the Four Heavenly Kings of the Demon King's army... the "struggle of changing jobs to another world." Working in the Demon King's army is hard and life-threatening, but for the sake of his superior, the Demon King, who respects him, he overcomes the difficulties with his knowledge and experience as an office worker and the friends he meets in another world.
