"This Week's New Releases" brings you information on new comics. Approximately 290 major comics will be released between October 21st and 26th. The latest releases include the 7th volume of "Bocchi the Rock!", which is also popular as an anime, the 3rd volume of its spin-off "Bocchi the Rock! Gaiden: Hiroi Kikuri's Deep Drinking Diary," and the 12th volume of "Nichijou," which is also the subject of a new anime being produced by Kyoto Animation.
On October 22nd, the following will be released: volume 17 of "Kindaichi Case Files: 37 Years Old," an adult version of the detective manga "Kindaichi Case Files," volume 48 of "K2," the latest in the medical manga "Super Doctor K" series by Mafune Kazuo; volume 17 of "Unmet: The Diary of a Brain Surgeon," which has been adapted into a TV drama; volume 73 of "Tasogare Ryuuseigun," volume 4 of "BATMAN JUSTICE BUSTER" by Shimizu Eiichi and Shimoguchi Tomohiro, who also created "ULTRAMAN," volume 5 of "Independent Director Shima Kosaku," the latest in Hirokane Kenshi's popular manga series "Shima Kosaku," and volume 171 of the long-running "Cooking Papa."
On October 23rd, the 11th volume of "Mieruko-chan," which is also the subject of much talk for its live-action film adaptation starring actress Hara Nanoka, will be released.
On October 25th, in stores will be stocking volume 7 of "Bocchi the Rock!", volume 3 of "Bocchi the Rock! Side Story: Hiroi Kikuri's Heavy Drinking Diary," volume 12 of "Nichijou," as well as volume 10 of "Senpai wa Otoko no Ko," which has been adapted into an anime; volume 22 of "Mobile Suit Gundam-san," a comedy manga by Owada Hideki from the popular "Gundam" anime series; volume 1 of "Mobile Suit V Gundam Side Story: Letters from Odelo Henryk," a side story commemorating the 30th anniversary of the broadcast of the "Mobile Suit V Gundam" anime; and volume 11 of "Yuube wa Omoshiroi Deshitane," which has been adapted into a TV drama.
