The "HG 1/144 L-Gaim [Special Coating]" (Bandai Spirits) plastic model of L-Gaim, which appears in the popular anime "Heavy Metal L-Gaim" that was popular mainly in the 1980s, will be released. The price is 5,830 yen.
The "HG 1/144 L-Gaim" has been given a glossy white plating to represent its "silver-white armor." Metallic molding is used for the grey parts. The gold joints, with the exception of some parts, are molded in a metallic gold color that gives them a heavy feel befitting heavy metal. A buster launcher, saber, power launcher, and binder are included.
Preorders are being accepted on Bandai Namco Group's official shopping site, "Premium Bandai." It is scheduled to ship in January 2025.
