It has been announced that "Nabetama," a gourmet manga currently serialized on the website "Comic Newtype" (KADOKAWA), will be adapted into a TV anime in 2027. The manga follows Juntaro, a protagonist who, due to years of excessive consumption of two-dimensional characters, sees every human being as a beautiful girl, as he travels to deep spots around the world in search of 50,000 points of deliciousness, tasting a variety of mysterious yet alluring local dishes. JCSTAFF will be producing the anime.
A teaser visual has been released featuring the protagonist Juntaro's face surrounded by sticker-like designs reminiscent of travel and gourmet food. The tagline reads, "A beautiful girl (old man) embarks on a crazy gourmet journey around the world."
