"Netapare THE Premium," a variety show where popular comedians compete with their best parody songs and impersonation short skits, will air on Fuji TV's "Saturday Premium" slot (Saturdays at 9 PM) on June 20th. The show will be hosted by Kiyotaka Nanbara of the comedy duo "Uchan Nanchan," comedian Tomonori Jinnai, and Takahisa Masuda of the popular group "NEWS."

The program will consist of two segments: "Celebrity! Sad Parody Song Grand Prix," where contestants perform parodies of famous songs based on their own sad stories, and "Impersonation Short Comedy Survival," which has been a hot topic since its first event in November last year as a competition originating from "Netapare."

In the parody song grand prix, 12 celebrity singers will perform their best songs for a grand prize of 300,000 yen. In the impersonation short comedy skit, 27 participants will be divided into Block A and Block B, with 10 winners from each block, for a total of 20 groups, who will engage in a heated battle for the grand prize of 1,000,000 yen.

The judging method will be the same as last time, with 100 audience members. It will be a survival battle where participants who fail to capture the hearts of the audience will be eliminated.

After the recording, Masuda, who served as one of the MCs, commented, "It felt strange to have three comedians from our agency appearing on this comedy show called 'Netapare,' alongside such prominent comedians: Kawai (Fumito) and Matsukura (Kaito/Travis Japan), and Kawasaki (Hoshiki/B&ZAI) in the impersonation segment. It also made me feel a bit nervous."

He then added, "Kawai has a variety of material, and I've seen him compete on the same stage as comedians, but Kawasaki-kun grew up watching Kawai's back (laughs). He even did an impression of me." MC Nanbara praised him, saying, "It was really similar! It's convincing because he's seen it from the inside of the agency." Masuda also reflected, "He's a junior who might have really seen what I do from behind, so I was happy that he did an impression of me."
