Asa's divorce from Tetsuya (Koudai Asaka) was finally finalized. Just two weeks before her due date, she was suddenly struck by severe abdominal pain. Ogata (Hiromitsu Kitayama), who was there, called an ambulance, and Asa was rushed to the hospital.
The examination revealed that both mother and baby were in a dangerous situation due to placental abruption, a condition where the placenta separates before birth. Lying in the ICU bed, Asa placed her hand on her stomach through the blanket and shed large tears.
