It has been revealed that "GIGANT," a manga by Hiroya Oku, known for works such as "Inuyashiki," will be adapted into an anime film and released in theaters.
The project is being handled by K2 Pictures, a company that primarily operates in the film industry. It was announced on May 17th (local time) at the "K2 Pictures Lineup Announcement 2026 in Cannes" held in Cannes, France.
"GIGANT" is a manga series that ran in "Big Comic Superior" (Shogakukan) from 2017 to 2021. It depicts the story of Papiko, a sexy actress, who grows to giant size and fights.
