"The Hilarious Look-alike Impersonation Red and White Singing Contest Special Spring," featuring impressionist specialists who have won auditions from all over Japan, will be broadcast on Fuji TV's "Saturday Premium" slot (Saturdays at 9 PM) on April 25th. In addition to MC Koji Imada, talent Chinatsu Wakatsuki will appear as a special MC. She will liven up the studio with her lively talk and outstanding reactions.
In the "Mimicry Dream Cover" segment, where well-known songs are covered by impersonating famous voices of well-known artists, Koudai Matsuura covers CANDY TUNE's "Baibai FIGHT!" in the style of Ken Hirai, and Naomi Fujii covers HANA's "Tiger" in the style of Shizuka Kudo, resulting in forbidden yet luxurious collaborations in impersonation. Mr. Shachihoko's cover of M!LK's "Sukisugite Metsu!" in the style of Akiko Wada had the studio in stitches.
The popular "MONOMANE STATION" segment from the previous broadcast has been upgraded. It features performers who simultaneously imitate different voices and faces, confusing the viewer's sight and hearing. Highly difficult impersonations will be featured one after another, including Kanna Hashimoto with a L'Arc-en- Kanna Hashimoto, Kotaro Yoshida with a GACKT voice, ROLAND with a Gen Hoshino voice, Takuya Kimura with a Yuzo Kayama voice, and Nozomi Tsuji with a Maki Ohguro voice.
Furthermore, Akimasa Haraguchi will challenge himself to a complete recreation of "Sanma's Comedy Improvement Committee" with a notable impressionist comedian he wants to collaborate with. Also, a parody of "The Best Ten" will be presented by Mikan, with "Tetsuko Kuroyanagi as the host." Impressions of 80s idol hit songs by Yoko Minamino, Seiko Matsuda, Akina Nakamori, Kyoko Koizumi, and others will appear, captivating the studio with their impressive singing ability and accuracy. In the new "Even Though It's ○○" series, which is full of surprises, Yoyoyo-chan will perform impressions of all the members of HANA by herself. The gap between her appearance and singing voice, the unpredictable developments and numerous impactful gags will draw loud cheers from the studio.
Special MC Wakatsuki's original segment will also be featured. In "Look-alikes! We've Gathered Them!", look-alikes of popular groups that Wakatsuki requested to meet will be gathered, including members of Snow Man and Arashi. The Snow Man look-alikes will perform the dance to their hit song "Charisma Max," while the Arashi look-alikes will sing a medley of "Happiness," "Love so sweet," and their new song "Five."
The show also features a popular segment hosted by the comedy duo "Shimofuri Myojo." In the "Face-Only Look-alike No. 1 Championship," a succession of astonishingly similar look-alikes appear. In the "Short Comedy Sketch Battle That Makes You Laugh in Seconds," talented performers who won the final audition showcase their short skits. From a skit recreating the transformation scene from the anime "Chainsaw Man" to a parody of the movie "Bomb," and a high school student's incredibly skillful anime voice impersonation, the studio erupts in laughter at the continuous stream of diverse and genre-bending skits.
