Bandai is releasing a plastic model kit of Great Mazinger from the popular anime series "Mazinger Z," titled "SMP [SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT] Great Mazinger Fire On! Set [Premium Bandai Limited]." It's part of the "SMP" series of Shokugan and will cost 9900 yen.
The head, arms, and legs have been recolored from the standard version to match the anime colors. It can recreate the Brain Condor's Fire On transformation and comes with weapon parts such as the large flight unit Scramble Dash, the flight support part Great Booster, the Mazinger Blade, Drill Pressure Punch, and a wrist for Thunder Break. It can power up Great Mazinger. The total height is approximately 14.5 cm.
Pre-orders are being accepted at Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, "Premium Bandai." Shipping is scheduled for December.
