Ahead of the broadcast of TV Asahi's Thursday drama "Unsolved Cases: Metropolitan Police Department Document Investigator Season 3" (Thursdays at 9 PM, starting April 16th), a giant advertisement was put up at Shibuya Mark City (Shibuya Ward, Tokyo).
Amidst falling cherry blossom petals, the main characters, including the dignified protagonist Narumi Risa (Kyoka Suzuki) and Mutsu Hinako (Yuna Kuroshima), are stylishly depicted alongside the "document," a key item in the film. The posters will be on display until April 19th.
"Unsolved Cases: Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department Document Investigator" is a mystery series in which unsolved cases are investigated using written documents as clues. It started in April 2018, and this is the third season, approximately six years later. As the 6th Section (Document Deciphering Section) of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigation Division's "Special Investigation Task Force" faces a crisis of survival, the brilliant detective Narumi Risa and her younger superior, the new section chief Mutsu Hinako, team up as partners to tackle difficult cases.
Ryubi Miyase will play Seiya Natsume, a cheerful but somewhat incompetent detective who lightens the mood of the 6th Division; Kazuki Sawamura will play Kiyoshige Koga, the unpleasant head of the Special Investigation Task Force; and Kenichi Endo will play Shinji Kusaka, the honest and taciturn detective of the 6th Division.
