NHK's program "That Day, I Happened to Be There," which tracks down people who appear in archive footage and depicts the subtleties of life, will broadcast "Deep x Oguri Arima Kinen Special" on NHK General TV from 5:15 pm on December 27th.
The "day" in this story is the 2006 Arima Kinen, watched by 110,000 spectators. Footage from the broadcast shows people in tears as the famous horse Deep Impact celebrates his retirement race with a landslide victory. The only clue to the search is a few seconds of footage. Will they be able to find them?
A surprising development occurred after the broadcast of the previous episode of "Monster Oguri Cap's Legendary Last Run" regarding the "women in tears in the front row" who could not be found. What will be the outcome of the extensive search that took more than a year?
The show will be hosted by the comedy duo Ogiyahagi, with guest appearance by Miyuki Imori and narration by Rumi Sugimoto.
