BS Yoshimoto will broadcast "THE CROWN BATTLE - Seize your own show with your planning skills" from 2:30 pm on December 29th, in which young comedians from Yoshimoto Kogyo will compete for a "name show" and make serious presentations.
The show is a new type of award competition in which young comedians who aspire to "one day have their own show" bring their original ideas and compete on the basis of their planning and presentation skills. The winning idea will actually be broadcast on BS Yoshimoto, and depending on the reaction, it may even become a regular program. The show's MC will be Yamazoe Hiroshi from the comedy duo "Aiseki Start," and the head judge will be Itakura Toshiyuki from "Impulse."
The seven groups taking on the challenge are Nozawa Yutoshi, Yoshikawa Kicchomu, Tatsuhara Rine, Ebichan from "Marie Marie", Fukuda Keigo from "LLR", Yoneda 2000 and Doncoco. Ebichan's best friend, actor Erika Karata, also appears in a video message, exciting the studio.
The show's MC, Yamazoe, commented, "One of the shows will actually come to fruition. I would like to see this one, that one, or even that one. The chairman of the judges will be Itakura-sensei. Of course there will be a special show for the winner, but this battle is worth watching and will get your brain juices flowing."
