A trailer for " Detective Conan: Fallen Angel on the Highway," the 29th film in the popular anime series "Detective Conan, " based on the manga by Gosho Aoyama, has been released on YouTube. The film's plot is set in Yokohama, where a mysterious black motorcycle leaps over the car Conan and his friends are riding in and speeds down the road, with Kanagawa Prefectural Police Traffic Mobile Unit police officer Hagiwara Chihaya pursuing it. Chihaya, whose driving skills are so incredible that Ran calls her the "Goddess of the Wind" when they first meet, is depicted in this intense motorcycle action scene, as she lifts the front wheel of her motorcycle, accelerates, and drives up a wall on the side of the road.
The video also shows a photo of Chihaya's late brother, Kenji Hagiwara, and his best friend, Jinpei Matsuda, along with a calendar showing the anniversary of their deaths, November 7th. "I won't let you get away," he declares forcefully, and the video is impressive with Chihaya's flashy motorbike action as he drives with determination.
An "Angel Visual" has also been released, depicting Chihaya and Conan riding a police motorcycle. The design features the word "ANGEL" as if carrying angel wings, and an inverted version of "ANGEL" emerging from a blazing flame.
The film features a police motorcycle called "Angel" equipped with the latest technology and a mysterious, out-of-control "black motorcycle." Conan, Ran, Sonoko, and Kogoro head to Yokohama's Minato Mirai area, where the Kanagawa Motorcycle Festival, a motorcycle festival, is being held, with motorcycle enthusiast Sera Masumi. The mysterious, out-of-control "black motorcycle" appears, jumping over the car Conan and his friends are riding in. Chasing it is Hagiwara Chihaya, the "Goddess of Wind" of the Kanagawa Prefectural Police Traffic Mobile Unit. After a fierce car chase, Chihaya's motorcycle is completely destroyed, and she narrowly misses the target.
Later, when Conan and his friends arrive at the festival venue in Yokohama, they find that the latest technology-equipped police motorcycle, "Angel," is being unveiled. Meanwhile, they receive information that a runaway "black motorcycle" has appeared in Tokyo, this time escaping pursuit by the Metropolitan Police Department. The motive for the out-of-control motorcycle is unknown, but Chihaya notices that the vehicle closely resembles the "Angel," and memories of his younger brother, Kenji Hagiwara, and his colleague, Jinpei Matsuda, come to mind. " Detective Conan: Fallen Angel of the Highway" will be released on April 10, 2026.
"Detective Conan" is a manga that depicts Conan Edogawa solving difficult cases one after another, and began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" (Shogakukan) in 1994. The total number of comics published has exceeded 270 million copies. The TV anime has been broadcast since 1996, and the first movie, "Detective Conan: The Time Bombed Skyscraper," was released in 1997.
