The grand prize announcement event for the "Mr. High School Boy Contest 2025," a contest to determine the "coolest high school boy in Japan," was held in Tokyo on November 29th, and out of the 13 finalists, Yusuke Narazaki, a second-year high school student from Hyogo Prefecture, was selected as the grand prize winner.
Narazaki expressed his joy at winning the Grand Prix, saying, "I was worried about whether I would really win the prize and whether my efforts would be rewarded, but I felt like everything had paid off all at once, and I was very happy."
She said that participating in the contest has made her mentally stronger, saying, "At first, I was nervous and timid about standing in front of people, and I had no confidence, but now I have a clear dream that I want to achieve, so I think I have become more confident in myself even in front of others."
He said his dream for the future is to become an actor, and expressed his enthusiasm by saying, "Right now, I still don't have much acting ability, so I want to work hard on improving my facial expressions and pronunciation, which I'm not very good at, and on acting so that I can put emotion into my performances."
The "Mr. High School Boys Contest 2025" was open to any male high school student who was not affiliated with an agency, and received around 20,000 applications. The runner-up was Enokida Iou, a third-year high school student from Miyazaki Prefecture who had previously won the "20th National High School Bodybuilding Championship."
