The second part of the spin-off drama "Akutsu's Dream and My Recipe," starring Shuto Inomata, a member of the eight-member group "timelesz," of the TV drama series "Papa to Chichi no Uchigohan" (TV Asahi, Saturdays at 11 p.m.), "A Body in Training," began streaming on TELASA on November 22nd.
The story is based on the manga of the same name (Shinchosha) by Toyoda Yu, who is also known for "It Cherry Magic! Thirty Years of Virginity Can Make You a Wizard?!." Timelesz's So Matsushima So and Shirasu Jin star in the drama, with Misako Renbutsu and Inomata also appearing. The drama is a family drama about single fathers Sengoku Satoshi (Matsushima) and Harumi Masahiro (Shirasu) living together and struggling to raise their children. Inomata plays Akutsu Tatsuya, a part-time worker at the bone-setting clinic run by Sengoku.
The first part of the spin-off, "My Own Way," depicts how Akutsu finds his own dream under the influence of Sengoku, Harumi, and others.
In the second part, Akutsu, who has begun to vaguely find the path he should follow, finally takes action. He quit basketball due to an injury and had given up on the sport, but his feelings for it remain. In an attempt to support his former teammate, who is also suffering from an injury like himself, from a "different position," Akutsu begins learning cooking from Yukari (Renbutsu). Akutsu's actions also have an impact on Yukari's younger sister, Akane (Himena Irei), who is also unsure of her future path... and the story unfolds.
