TV anime "The Strongest Alchemist?" second season to be produced

It has been announced that a second season of the TV anime series "Will He Become the Strongest Alchemist?", based on the popular light novel written by Kogitsunemaru and illustrated by Hitome, will be produced. A celebratory visual by Sasakama Taro, who is in charge of the comic adaptation, has been released. The gorgeous visual appears to show the main character Takumi and the goddess Norn celebrating the production of the second season.

The story is about Takumi Iruma, an office worker who, despite not being a hero, is caught up in a hero summoning and is unable to return to his original world. He uses the cheat skills bestowed upon him by the goddess Norn to try again in the fantasy world of Mildgard. The light novel was serialized on the novel and manga submission site Alphapolis. A comic book adaptation has also been serialized. The total number of copies of the series has exceeded 1.2 million.

The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March.
