On June 3rd, MOMONA from the 11-member girl group "ME:I" appeared at a "tear-jerking screening" of Disney's live-action film "Lilo & Stitch" (directed by Dean Fleischer-Camp, released June 6th) in Tokyo. She wore an off-the-shoulder dress and showed off her beautiful décolletage.
The dress had a gorgeous red and white botanical pattern and was designed in the style of a muumuu, a traditional Hawaiian costume, with white frills around the collar and hem. She had a two-tone outfit with the right side of her long hair braided, a plumeria flower garland, and white sandals on her feet.
The film is a live-action adaptation of the Disney animated film of the same name, produced in 2002. It is a fantasy set on the island of Kauai in Hawaii, depicting the important bond of "ohana (family)." A young girl named Lilo and her older sister Nani, who have lost their parents, are confronted by Stitch, a rowdy alien who knows no family love. Stitch's unpredictable actions cause chaos on the peaceful island, but this miraculous encounter eventually changes the sisters who had almost lost hope. MOMONA was the voice of Nani in the Japanese dubbed version.
