Actor Hirona Yamazaki appeared on the talk variety show "Nikenme Dosuru? ~Tsumami no Hanashi~" (TV Tokyo, Saturday midnight 12:55) broadcast late at night on May 24th. She talked about the radio wave situation in the area of Hokkaido where her grandparents live.
Yamazaki revealed that his father's hometown is in Setana Town, Hokkaido. As the host, Matsuoka Masahiro, is from Sapporo, the conversation turned to Setana Town.
Yamazaki was happy to have had a conversation with Matsuoka about the scenic spot "Oyako Kumaiwa" in Setana Town, and shared an episode from when she went to her grandparents' house. "The last time I went back, there was no signal at my grandparents' house (lol)! It didn't work," she revealed, to which the other MC, Hakata Daikichi, looked at her with wide eyes and said, "These days?!"
Yamazaki continued, "There's a little bit of Wi-Fi available at the cemetery on the hill, so I have to be taken down to the cemetery once a day in case I get contacted about work..." he explained his difficulties.
