"Shinjuku Anime Song Scope" is a website where anime buyer Higuchi Sho of Tower Records Shinjuku, known for its wide selection of anime songs, reports on best-selling anime songs and the voices of the sales floor. The number one song at the store from May 11th to 18th was "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA MASTER 070-072 -COOL SELECTION-", the 18th release of the CD series "CINDERELLA MASTER" from the popular game "The Idolmaster Cinderella Girls (Deremasu)".

The top-ranked "THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA MASTER 070-072 -COOL SELECTION-" is a 3-CD set that includes solo songs and drama parts from cool idols Izumi Oishi, Sei Mochizuki, and Laila. From the "Idolmaster" series, "THE IDOLM@STER SideM 10th ANNIVERSARY P@SSION 15 Legenders," a CD commemorating the 10th anniversary of "Idolmaster SideM," also ranked 6th.
In second place is "25-ji, Night Code de. SEKAI ALBUM vol.3," the first release in the CD series "SEKAI ALBUM vol.3" for the smartphone game "Project SEKAI Colorful Stage! feat. Hatsune Miku (ProSeka)," which features songs sung by the unit "25-ji, Night Code de." and a virtual singer.
In fourth place was singer Ribu's fifth album, "Ratimeria," in eighth place was voice actor and singer Daisuke Ono's seventh mini-album, "musee," and in tenth place was Nekomata Okayu's second album, "Persona Spectrum," from the popular VTuber group Hololive.

Higuchi Sho is a buyer in charge of anime at Tower Records Shinjuku store, 7th floor (Japanese music/sales promotion). He was transferred from the Machida store in 2014. He got into anime because of 1990s works such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion", "BLUE SEED", and "VS Knight Ramune & 40 Flame", and among anime songs, he loves listening to character songs, especially songs related to idol anime. His favorite anthem is "Up! 10sion Pleeeeeeeeease!" from "The Idolmaster Million Live!". His favorite anime and games include "Pretty Rhythm", "The Idolmaster", "Photo Kano", and "Sakura Wars".
