It has been announced that the original anime "Turkey!", set in Chikuma City, Nagano Prefecture, will be broadcast on Nippon Television and other stations starting July 8th. It will be broadcast on BS Nippon Television on July 10th, and on TV Shinshu on July 12th.
The anime features five high school girls from a bowling club, and the first PV has been released, depicting bowling scenes and the conflicts of each character. The opening theme "Hyakunichisou" sung by the five members of the bowling club at Ichikokukan High School in Nagano Prefecture is also included.
The work is an original anime created jointly by Tatsunoko Productions' label "BAKKEN RECORD" and Pony Canyon. It is directed by Susumu Kudo and written by Naomi Hiruta, who has worked on dramas such as "This is Not an Expense!" and "In a World Where It's Neither Black nor White, a Panda Smiles."Hana Hishikawa, Kana Ichinose, Hiyori Iwata, Yuuki Amano, and Ayasa Ito will play the five high school girls in the bowling club.
