The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 am and others) aired its 7th week, "The Sea, Tears and Me." In the 32nd episode on May 13, Nobu (Imada) and Takashi ( Takumi Kitamura) finally exchange words at the sea.
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobuyuki (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas and arrived at "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In episode 32, in an attempt to reconcile Nobu and Takashi, Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi) and Meiko (Nanoka Hara) take the two of them to the sea with Chihiro (Motoki Nakazawa).
The five of them eat the Anpan that Meiko brought and chat on the beach. Kentaro calls Takashi a genius, and Nobu says that Takashi's paintings make people who see them feel kind. Takashi is happy to hear those words. Kentaro and the others are relieved to hear the two of them. Then Meiko...
