The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General, Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m. and others) will broadcast its 7th week, "The Sea, Tears and Me." In the 31st episode on May 12, Nobu (Imada) hears from Ranko ( Yuumi Kawai) that she is "coming back."
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobuyuki (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas and arrived at "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In episode 31, Nobu returns home for summer vacation and asks Kusakichi (Sadao Abe) about a bakery in Ginza, but is evaded.
Hatako (Noriko Eguchi) scolds Nobu for prying too much. That night, when Ranko tells Nobu that Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) is coming home, Nobu looks gloomy, thinking that she may have said too much on the phone. Two days later, Takashi returns to Gomenyocho with a gift in his arms, taking Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi). It is not Nobu but Meiko (Nanoka Hara) who is waiting for them...
