The 25th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others) was broadcast on May 2nd. In the episode, Takashi's ( Takumi Kitamura) uncle Hiroshi (Yutaka Takenouchi), who rushed to the announcement of his son's acceptance into the university, uttered a series of heartfelt quotes, which became a hot topic among viewers.
In the 25th episode, it is the day that the results of the Tokyo Higher School of Fine Arts are announced. Takashi is sitting alone on a bench, unable to find the courage to look at the results. That's when Hiroshi (Yutaka Takenouchi) appears. He explains that he went to Tokyo on his way back from a conference, and when Takashi is surprised and asks, "Why...", Hiroshi reveals, "It's already decided. I'm worried about you."
Seeing Taka's expression, Hiroshi encourages him, saying, "This is proof that you tried your best. There's nothing to be ashamed of. Whatever the outcome, you should return to Kochi with your head held high. I will never forgive anyone who laughs at you! Accept reality and move forward. Next to despair is hope."
When Takashi told him, "I haven't seen the results yet," Hiroshi grabbed Takashi's arm and hurried to the bulletin board. There, he saw the name "Takashi Yanai ," and when Takashi mentioned that he had been advised by Hiroshi to memorize the formula for his math test, which he was bad at, Hiroshi responded, "You worked hard, Takashi. You worked hard, you did well!" and the two embraced each other and shared their joy.
Afterwards, the two go to buy the Anpan that Takashi ate with his late father, Kiyoshi ( Kazunari Ninomiya), mother, Tomiko (Nanako Matsushima), and brother, Chihiro (Motoki Nakazawa ) when he was a child. Hiroshi says, "If Kiyoshi were alive, he would have been very happy about your passing. Takashi, what are you born for, and what do you live for? That's what I think. It's to make other people happy. Seeing your happy face made me happy too. Life is a game of making people happy."
On social media, there were many rave reviews, such as "He's saying one great quote after another," "He says so many great quotes it looks like he's going to complete the Anpanman March all by himself," "It's another Yutaka Takenouchi festival today," "He's truly a man of great character and the best," "I wonder if it's because of Yutaka Takenouchi's acting ability that he's the ideal man yet not annoying," and "His face, voice, personality, everything about him is just too cool...I can't take it!!!"
