The Fuji TV Getsuku drama "Second to Last Love 3 " (Mondays at 9pm) starring Kyoko Koizumi and Kiichi Nakai has released a synopsis and stills from the fourth episode, which will air on May 5th.
After passing a detailed examination, Yoshino Chiaki (Koizumi) is invited to dinner by the doctor Naruse Senji (Miura Tomokazu). Naruse apologizes for losing his beloved wife 10 years ago and for Chiaki's suspicious behavior, as she looks just like his wife. Chiaki is touched by his sincerity and asks him to be her doctor again.
Kazuhira Nagakura (Nakai) is shaken when he is suddenly asked by the mayor of Kamakura, Ryoko Isayama (Rie Shibata), to run for mayor.
When Chiaki is taking pictures of her daily life in Kamakura to send to her mother at home, she bumps into Wahei. Furthermore, she runs into Nagakura Shinpei (Kenji Sakaguchi) and his wife Tomomi (Ami Satsukawa) at the beach. Chiaki and Wahei are curious about Shinpei's condition.
At that moment, Wahei's smartphone receives a call from Ritsuko Hayata (Hikari Ishida) asking for help. When he rushes to the scene, he finds Ritsuko crying for some reason with a Chinese tourist. Wahei hears the reason why Ritsuko was crying, and she confesses to him that she was a cheating wife, a "cuckolded wife," whose husband had cheated on her. Moreover, the whole conversation between them is seen by Tomomi's mother, Hideko Ohashi (Jun Miho).
After work, Chiaki, worried about Mariko Nagakura (Yuki Uchida)'s restless behavior at work, goes to her house to listen to her thoughts. Chiaki hugs the crying Mariko and comforts her tenderly.
Early the next morning, Mizutani Noriko (Iijima Naoko), who is an unusually early riser, announces that she will give a lecture to a certain person...
The script is written by Yoshikazu Okada, who also wrote the first and second seasons. Set in Kamakura, the story depicts the love between a TV station producer played by Koizumi and a Kamakura city employee played by Nakai. The theme song is sung by Ayumi Hamasaki, who also sang the theme song for the first and second seasons.
