The third episode of the drama series " The Reluctant Preacher " (Nippon TV, Saturday 9pm) starring actress Alice Hirose was broadcast on April 26th. The scene depicted Moriguchi (Ito Atsushi), the new school reform committee chairman, rejecting the idea of Reimi Shizuka (Hirose), who is desperately trying to overturn a student's expulsion, caused a stir on social media.

In the third episode, Shizuka is left speechless by the words of the Reform Committee Chairman, Moriguchi, who says, "With your help, we will expel the 75 students listed here." In fact, Moriguchi is the nephew of the chairman of the board of directors, and is scheduled to become chairman next year. Moriguchi's plan was to eliminate all students with bad behavior who could tarnish the Meishin Academy brand.
The list of candidates for expulsion also included the name of Keita Miyazawa (Haruto Yoshida), who lives in a financially difficult single-parent household. Moriguchi says he intends to cut off students from difficult family backgrounds as a source of trouble.
Furthermore, Miyazawa's luxury watch that he got from "sugar mom activities" to make a living becomes suspicious to Moriguchi, and the other woman reports him to the school, where his sugar mom activities are discovered and he is forced to voluntarily drop out. Shizuka then negotiates a settlement with the other woman, and takes Miyazawa with her to persuade Moriguchi, bearing a written statement that there was no sugar mom activity. However, Moriguchi blames Shizuka for concealing the truth and settling the matter... and so the story unfolds.
Unable to bear the sight of Shizuka at a loss for words, Miyazawa tries to back off himself, despairing and saying, "I don't care anymore!" However, Shizuka points out that he is just being self-absorbed, and advises him, "You have something you want to do! You said that you like studying and that you want to go to college, right? If that's your goal, you should definitely stay in high school! If you stay here, you can do what you want! So don't say you're quitting so easily!"
He then tries to persuade Moriguchi not to take away Miyazawa's future, but Moriguchi remains unfazed and rejects his plea, saying, "I don't have time to listen to your lectures. No matter what you say, Miyazawa is going to be expelled. Dropping out of high school isn't going to change much about his future."
On social media, Moriguchi's behavior, unfazed by Shizuka and Miyazawa's desperate pleas, became a hot topic. Comments such as "Moriguchi is a devil...", "Do something about this guy", "This is just the right amount of annoying", "Moriguchi-sensei is too bad", and "She's a total jerk" were posted.
