At the Women's Normal School, Nobu helps Usako (played by Sara Shida) during a naginata lesson and confronts Kuroi (played by Kumi Takiuchi). Overwhelmed by Kuroi, Nobu and Usako promise to get stronger together. Meanwhile, Takashi (played by Takumi Kitamura ), who is struggling with a math problem, is given tips on how to solve it by Hiroshi... and so on.

As autumn came, Usako's naginata skills improved. Nobu was overwhelmed by her, as she practiced even on weekends. The new year arrived, and it was Taku's exam day. With the support of his family and a sweet bean- Anpan from Kusakichi ( Sadao Abe ) that congratulated him, Taku set off towards his dream. Having suddenly failed to get into one of the two schools, Taku clung to a ray of hope and took the exam at Tokyo Higher Arts School.
" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobuyuki (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas and arrived at "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
