The synopsis for the fourth episode (to be aired on May 4th) of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama " Caster " (Sundays at 9pm), starring actor Hiroshi Abe , has been released.
Set in the TV station "JBN" news program "NEWS GATE," this socially conscious entertainment series pursues the truth buried in the darkness and punishes evil. Abe plays the unconventional newscaster Shindo Soichi, while Hana Sakikubo , and Shunsuke Michieda of " Naniwa Danshi " plays Mei Nagano Yusuke, a rookie AD with an aspiration to be a journalist who respects Shindo.
In the third episode, a voyeurism scandal breaks out at Kirio Girls' Junior High School, where Kaiba's ( Takashi Okabe) daughter Akari (Takeshita Yuna) attends. Hana (Mei Nagano) and Motohashi (Shunsuke Michieda) head to the school on Kaiba's orders. On the surface, they're there to interview the basketball club, but as they listen to the students' stories, Hana and the others begin to suspect that the basketball club's advisor, Haga (Takahashi Tsutomu), may be involved in the voyeurism.
Meanwhile, for some reason, Shindo (Hiroshi Abe) accompanies Hana and the others on their interview. In fact, his daughter Sumire (Horikoshi Reika) also attends the same junior high school.
