The drama series " Taigan no Kaji ~Kore ga, Watashi no Ikiru Michi~ " (TBS, Tuesdays at 10pm) starring actress Mikako Tabe . The synopsis and stills from the 5th episode, which will air on April 29th, have been released.
Nakatani (Dean Fujioka), who is eager to get Karen (Igarashi Mio) to take up extracurricular activities, invites Shiho (Tabe) and Ichigo (Nagai Kana) to a trial English class.
Although Shiho is reluctant, saying "It's too early, he can't even speak Japanese yet," Nakatani explains that "experience is a weapon that parents pass on to their children," and explains why children should try as many things as possible from an early age.
One day, Reiko ( Noriko Eguchi) invites the Nagano and Murakami families to go glamping. Nakatani and Karen, who are in Japan with their wife Juri (Shimabukuro Hiroko), also join, and the three families all get together!
While everyone is enjoying the barbecue, Reiko is not pleased with the way her husband, Ryohei (Kawanishi Kenshiro), who doesn't help with the housework at home, works efficiently and appears cheerful on the outside.
Shiho witnesses Ichigo having fun, learning new words and playing with children her age that she doesn't usually have much contact with. She begins to worry that as a full-time housewife, she is spending her days alone with Ichigo and depriving her of the opportunity to have new experiences...
Based on the novel "Taigan no Kaji" (Kodansha Bunko) by Kiko Akano, the story depicts the "endless work" of housework through the protagonist's interactions with "people on the other side of the river" who have different positions and ways of thinking than her.
