The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 am and others) will broadcast its fourth week, "What Do We Live For?". In the 20th episode on April 25th...
In the previous episode 19, Nobu (Imada) and Takashi ( Takumi Kitamura) overcame the mishap and successfully completed the exam. In contrast to Takashi's cheerful expression, Nobu's shoulders were slumped. Seeing this, Hatako (Noriko Eguchi) and others cheered him up cheerfully. At the Yanai household, Tomiko (Nanako Matsushima) and Chiyoko (Naho Toda) prepared red rice as a pre-celebration for Takashi's passing, which confused Takashi.
Hiroshi tells Takashi, "Just do what you want to do today," so Takashi becomes absorbed in drawing manga. And then, the day of the results announcement finally arrives... and so the story unfolds.
In the 20th episode, the fortunes of Nobu and Takashi, who took the exam, are divided.
In the quiet Yanai household, Taku bows to Hiroshi (Yutaka Takenouchi) and the others. At that moment, Nobu and Kusakichi (Sadao Abe) arrive to deliver Anpan. Nobu says that the Asada family eats Anpan whether they're happy or sad, and Tomiko... The next morning, Taku chases after Tomiko as she is leaving Gomenyocho. Then, Taku asks Kusakichi why he was born, and doesn't return home that night...
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobuyuki (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas and arrived at "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
