The first episode of the TV drama " Ameku M.D.: Doctor Detective " (TV Asahi, Tuesdays 9pm), starring actress Kanna Hashimoto , aired on April 22nd, and the popular voice actor who appeared as a guest star attracted attention.
The drama is based on the novel of the same name by Mikito Chinen , which has sold over 3.6 million copies in total and was also made into a TV anime. It is a full-fledged medical mystery in which the buddy team of Takao Ameku (played by Hashimoto), a diagnostician with a transcendental brain and overwhelming knowledge and insight as a doctor, and Yu Takanashi (played by Shohei Miura), an internist, brilliantly solve mysterious illnesses, murder cases, and even paranormal phenomena.
At the beginning of the first episode, voice actress Ayane Sakura, known for her roles as Ochako Uraraka in " My Hero Academia" and Yotsuba Nakano in "The Quintessential Quintuplets ," made an appearance. Sakura played Takao in the TV anime that aired from January to April this year, and in the drama she played the daughter of the patient who is diagnosed by Takao, played by Hashimoto.
