The drama series "Kanojo ga sore mo ai to yobunara" starring actor Chiaki Kuriyama (Yomiuri TV/Nippon TV, Thursdays 11:59pm) has released the synopsis and stills from the 4th episode, which will air on April 24th.
Housewife Kinuka (Tokunaga Eri) does the same thing over and over every day. She rings up the cash register at a convenience store, comes home, cooks dinner, and eats a meal without any conversation. She simply fulfills her role as a wife and mother.
Her daily life falls apart when a woman appears at her workplace and tells her, "I'm Aiko Yazawa, and I'm dating your husband," and tells her that they've been having an affair for nine years. While upset, Kinuka is also confused by the fact that she doesn't feel any anger.
When Kinuka finds out that her friend Ima (Kuriyama) has three boyfriends, she feels uneasy about this friend's free lifestyle, which is completely different from her own.
One day, Kinuka goes to dinner with Ima and her lover Ao (Kento Senga) and Itaru (Tomomi Maruyama). There, she confesses her husband's affair. Ima says, "Kinuka's life is her own."
It turns out that Ao had been lying to Ima. Their relationship of trust is strained, and Ima tells Ao that she can't continue their relationship like this.
Based on the novel of the same name by Ichiki Kei (Gentosha Bunko). Ima, a single mother raising a high school-aged daughter, falls in love again. The love interest is Hisame, a graduate student majoring in biology. Ima already has two boyfriends. A story that shakes up our rigid notions of normalcy.
