The 16th episode of the NHK Taiga drama " UNBOUND (Berabou) " (General TV, Sunday 8pm and others), starring actor Ryusei Yokohama , titled "Farewell Gennai, the View is Horai", was broadcast on April 20th, and special effects fans responded to the actor who appeared in the role of Joemon.
" UNBOUND (Berabou)" is the 64th taiga drama and depicts the life of Tsutaya Juzaburo(or "Tsutajyu" for short), who is said to have laid the foundations for Japan's media industry and pop culture.
In the 16th episode, Tsutaju (Yokohama) visits Gennai (Ken Yasuda Ken) at his mansion, known as the "unlucky house," and asks him to write a new play for the New Year, but is concerned by his strange behavior. Just then, he receives news that "Gennai has killed someone."Okitsugu(Ken Watanabe) hears from Gennai, who is in prison, about the construction of Jouemon's mansion, which Okitsugu is said to have sent, but Okitsugu himself has no idea about it...
This Jouemon was actually a fake, and someone had used his name to ask Gennai for false construction work. Jouemon also teamed up with the carpenter Kugoro, drove Gennai into a state of confusion, then killed Kugoro and framed Gennai for the crime.
The role of Jouemon was played by Masato Yano, who is known for his role as Okuwagata Oger/Lacres Hasty in the Super Sentai series "Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger." "UNBOUND" is Yano's second taiga drama, and in the previous "Kirin ga Kuru" (2020), he played Toki Yorizumi, the first husband of Kicho (Haruna Kawaguchi), and the scene in which he was poisoned to death by Saito Dosan (Masahiro Motoki) became a hot topic.
Special effects fans responded on social media, getting excited when he appeared with cries of "Yano Masato!", "Lord Laclese!", "Lord Laclese! It's Lord Laclese!!!" There were also comments like "Aaaaahhhh a fake murder", "Huh? Who gave the orders", "Put Gennai-sensei in the position of blame...", and "This is a false accusation".
