TBS's special program "Professional Rankings: The True No. 1s Chosen by Professionals in Their Field" will be broadcast as a two-hour special from 7pm on April 21st. This is the fifth installment of the program, which presents the "true rankings" determined by serious voting by professionals who have mastered their fields, and this time, titled "KING OF IDOL," it will present the "Idol Masterpiece Songs Rankings" chosen by 186 idols of all time.
The rankings will include everything from the big hits that swept the music scene in the Showa and Heisei eras, to the latest idol songs of the Reiwa era that became a hot topic on social media, to legendary songs that are said to be "the dream of all idols." Secret footage of popular idols such as Akina Nakamori, Aya Matsuura, Morning Musume, FRUITS ZIPPER, AKB48, Nogizaka46, and others will also be introduced.
Sakagami Shinobu will serve as "chairman," and guests will include Haruka Koizumi, Maki Goto, and Miki Fujimoto from the idol group "Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu," as well as comedy duo "Haraichi."
Appearing in the video will be AYANE from ME:I, former AKB48 members Itano Tomomi, Kashiwagi Yuki, and Takahashi Minami, Nogizaka46's Miku Ichinose, Sakurazaka46's Rina Matsuda, SWEET STEADY's Kurita Natsuka, FRUITS ZIPPER's Sakurai Yui, Momoiro Clover Z's Sasaki Ayaka and Suzuki Ami, Cho Cho Tokimeki Sendenbu's Suda Aiki, former Hinatazaka46 members Nibu Akari and Hayami Akari Nibu, former Nogizaka46 members Sayuri Matsumura and Matsumoto Iyo, and former Onyanko Club member Watanabe Marina.
