The 13th episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " starring Mio Imada (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00am, etc.) was broadcast on April 16th. In the episode, there was a scene in which Nobu's (Imada) dream was encouraged by his mother Hatako ( Noriko Eguchi), his sisters Ranko (Yuumi Kawai) and Meiko (Nanoka Hara), and this drew the attention of viewers.
In episode 13, Nobu tells her grandfather, Kamaji (Kotaro Yoshida), "I've found my dream. I want to be a school teacher in the future." However, Kamaji is strongly opposed, saying, "You'll definitely miss out on getting married!" Her grandmother, Kura (Miyoko Asada), also advises her, "Ranko, you should work and not go to a higher school," but Ranko says, "I'll support you, big sister," and "Your big sister's dream is my dream."
Hatako also mentioned that the late Yutaro (Ryo Kase) had said that in foreign countries, there are women who go out into society and become just as successful as men, and that such an era will come in Japan someday. She bowed to Kamaji and said, "Please, don't crush Nobu's dream."
Ranko, who had been watching the exchange, put on Yutaro's keepsake hat and bowed alongside Nobu and Hatako, saying, "Please take care of me in place of Dad." Meiko placed Yutaro's hat on Kamaji's head and smiled, calling him "Grandpa."
With the support of Ranko and others, Kamaji agrees that Nobu wants to become a school teacher, and comments on social media include, "This has been heartbreaking this morning," "I started to cry," "Hatako's words... brought Yutaro back to life," "Yutaro's words live on in the family and it's great to see everyone supporting Nobu's dream," "Three sisters is great - what a great family," and "This family has a good balance."
