Actor Fuka Koshiba stars in the second season of NHK's BS period drama "Akinaiseiden Kin to Gin 2" (NHK BS Premium 4K, Sunday 6:45 pm). The subtitle of the third episode, which will be broadcast on April 20, is "Bells and Marbles," and the synopsis and scene cuts have also been released.

"Akinaiseiden Kin to Gin" is set in the mid-Edo period and depicts the common people who work hard and use their ingenuity to succeed in business, while incorporating a variety of customs. In season 1, which aired in 2023, the main character Sachi (Koshiba) marries Tomozo (Matsumoto Reo), the sixth-generation owner of Gosuzuya, and begins selling "Hamahabutae" from New Year's as a desperate plan to revive the struggling Gosuzuya.
Season 2 is the "Edo Edition." It begins immediately after Season 1, with Sachi and Chizo expanding the store and realizing the dream of the previous owner of Gosuzuya, to open a store in Edo, but Sachi is hit by a series of sad events.
In the third episode, Sachi, who is pregnant, is concerned about her younger sister Yui (played by Itsuki Nagasawa), who has just come to Osaka, but is having a hard time fitting in. At that time, Sachi focuses on "obi" (sashes) in an attempt to increase sales.
The fashion for obi had not yet caught on in Osaka. While Shusuke (Yuki Izumisawa) rushes to Kyoto to buy new obi fabric and promote "Gosuzuya Obi," Masumi-ya, with whom he has a rivalry, spends a lot of money on advertising and establishes "Masumi-ya Obi." Sachi tries to come up with a unique idea that no one else can imitate, but...
