The NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 a.m. and others), starring Mio Imada , will air its third week, "What for? Born?" in the 11th episode on April 14th.
In the previous episode 10, Taku (Kimura Yuki) is overjoyed to see Tomiko ( Nanako Matsushima)'s face for the first time in a long time, but Tomiko looks confused.
Nobu (Nagase Yuzuna) is restlessly worried about Takashi who has disappeared. Hatako (Noriko Eguchi) takes Nobu outside to sell the remaining Anpan. There she sees Takashi collapsed on the street. As Hatako and Nobu look on, Takashi devours the bean-jam bun with Anpan. With strength welling up from the bottom of his stomach, Takashi starts to walk powerfully. And before you know it, the years have flown by... and so the story unfolds.
In the 11th episode, in 1935, Nobu (Imada), a fifth-year student at a girls' high school, reunites with Lieutenant Takashima (Ichikawa Tomohiro) one day and receives an order for 200 bean-jam Anpan to be used in a bread-eating contest at a festival.
While the Asada family is excited by the big project since the opening of Asada Bakery, Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) is shaken by the friendly relationship between Nobu and Kijima. Takashi doesn't know what he wants to do in the future. Hiroshi (Yutaka Takenouchi) advises Takashi to think hard until he finds something that suits him.
"Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu Komatsu(1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
