Bandai will release a role-playing toy for adults based on the special effects drama "Ultraman Nexus," called "Ultra Replica Blast Shot 20th Anniversary ver.", for 8,500 yen.
The Blast Shot, a small shock wave gun given to Dynamists, humans who can transform into Ultraman, will be commercialized as part of the "Ultra Replica" series. To commemorate the 20th anniversary of "Ultraman Nexus," the music and sounds included in the Blast Shot released in 2018 in the same series have been significantly updated.
In addition to the opening theme song for the first half, "Hero," and the opening theme song for the second half, "Aoi Kajitsu," it also includes "Incident Occurrence," "Main Title," "Eye-Catch," and "Nexus - Full Throttle." It also includes the sounds of summoning the Stone Flugel, healing sounds, sounds of being repelled by Dark Faust, sounds of gunfire during the battle with Mizoroki Shinya, and sounds of the vacuum wave bullets being bounced off by Dark Zagi. It also includes lines from the battles with Dark Faust, Mizoroki Shinya (Dark Mephisto), and Ishihori Mitsuhiko (Dark Zagi), as well as lines from Himeya Jun, Senju Ren, Saijo Nagi, and Komon Kazuki.
Equipped with a transformation gimmick, it can be switched between gun mode and air burst mode, and the color of the light changes depending on the scene, such as summoning or attacking.
Reservations will be accepted from 4pm on April 11th on Bandai Namco Group's shopping site "Premium Bandai". Shipment is scheduled for September.
