Actor Jun Shison will appear on the variety show "Ueda to onna ga hoeru yoru" (Nippon Television Network), a two-hour special airing on April 1st at 9 PM.
In the segment titled "I won't be defeated by rising prices! A woman who doesn't waste a single yen," Shison says she doesn't usually think about saving money, and reveals, "I don't cook at all. When I do cook for friends, I buy the most expensive ingredients at the supermarket."
He also doesn't use points or coupons, saying, "I don't want people to think, 'This guy used a coupon.' Even if they say, 'We'll give you a discount,' I wonder if it's okay to use it to buy something... It's about appearances."
He also admitted that he has a hard time saying no when someone recommends something to him, saying, "Even when I go to a clothing store to kill time, I end up buying something if they recommend it. In the end, I sometimes give it to a junior colleague." When asked about saving money, he refused to save, saying, "I just have to be patient." He also revealed why he puts on airs and acts like he's well-off.
The segment will feature Ai Otomo, Ayumi Shigemori, Haruka Shimazaki, Ami Suzuki, Nobuko from "Party-chan", Manami Hashimoto, and Tomu Muto. The "Stress Relief! Spring Grumbling Festival" segment will feature Atsuko Takahata, Karina Maruyama, Iori Noguchi from "=LOVE", the comedy duo "Beni Shoga", Rie Mimura, and Akiko Yoshida.
