Shinjuku Anime Song Scope:"Love Live!" Hasunozora Girls' Academy School Idol Club 3 Units' New Singles Dominate the Top Rankings

"Shinjuku Anime Song Scope" is a website where anime buyer Higuchi Sho from Tower Records Shinjuku, known for its extensive selection of anime songs, reports on best-selling anime songs and the voices of those at the sales floor. The number one song at the store from March 16th to 23rd was "Zenpoui Kyun," the fourth single by Mirakura Park!, a unit within the group of virtual school idol group Hasunozora Girls' Academy School Idol Club from the popular anime series "Love Live!".

In this ranking, singles by Hasunozora Girls' Academy School Idol Club dominated the top four spots. Mirakura Park!'s "Zenpoui Kyun" made its debut at number one, while the fifth single by group unit DOLLCHESTRA, which was released at the same time, "COMPASS," came in third, and the fifth single by group unit Cherise Bouquet, "Yumewazurai," came in fourth. In second place was Hasunozora Girls' Academy School Idol Club's fifth single, "AURORA FLOWER," which was released in February of this year.

Coming in at number 6 is voice actress and artist Kaori Maeda's third EP, "I'm ready!". The EP contains a total of six songs, including "Kyun Api," the ending theme for the TV anime "Medaka Kuroiwa Is Impervious to My Charms," and "Progress," for which she tried her hand at writing the lyrics.

Coming in at number 7 is voice actress and singer Nana Mizuki 's new album "CONTEMPORARY EMOTION," her first in about two and a half years. The album includes many popular theme songs, such as "Turn the World," the opening theme for the TV anime "SHAMAN KING FLOWERS," in which she also appeared as a voice actress, and "ADRENALIZED," the opening theme for the TV anime "HIGHSPEED Etoile."

The theme song CD for " No.1 Sentai Gozyuger, " a 50th anniversary work for the Super Sentai series that has been airing since February, " No.1 Sentai Gozyuger Theme Song CD," came in 8th place.

Higuchi Sho is a buyer in charge of anime at Tower Records Shinjuku store, 7th floor (Japanese music/sales promotion). He was transferred from the Machida store in 2014. He got into anime because of 1990s works such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion", "BLUE SEED", and "VS Knight Ramune & 40 Flame", and among anime songs, he loves character songs, especially songs related to idol anime. His favorite anthem is "Up! 10sion Pleeeeeeeeease!" from "The Idolmaster Million Live!". His favorite anime and games include "Pretty Rhythm", "The Idolmaster", "Photo Kano", and "Sakura Wars".
