On March 23rd, students from class 3-2 at Rintoku Gakuin, where Mikami (Matsuzaka) is the homeroom teacher in the TBS Sunday Theatre drama " Mikami Sensei " (Sundays at 9pm) starring Tori Matsuzaka , appeared on stage at the "Rintoku Gakuin Culture Festival" at the "TBS AKASAKA COLLECTION produced by TGC" held in Tokyo.

During the opening talk, Sakura Kiryu, who plays Shiiba, Yudai Toyoda, who plays Miyazawa, Akari Takaishi, who plays Chigira, and Koki Yamashita, who plays Fuyuki, appeared in their school uniforms. Regarding the final episode that will be broadcast tonight, Yoshiyanagi commented, "A week has flown by since it started. I'm sad that it's ending today." Takaishi, who plays an important role in the final episode, said, "A big new fact about Chigira is revealed. It's tonight, so I hope you'll watch."

Yamashita appeared with blonde hair, and the character she was playing, Fuyuki, had black hair, so she asked her classmates with a worried look, "Are you okay?" Toyoda responded, "It's a different person, but I'm keeping it together with my glasses." The stage was hosted by the station's announcer, Maoko Hibi.

The drama is an original "great reversal education revival story" in which Takashi Mikami (Matsuzaka), a bureaucrat in the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology who wants to change education in Japan, teaches at a private high school and leads 18-year-old high school students living in the Reiwa era while standing up to authority. The script is written by Roba Shimori, who will be teaming up with Matsuzaka for the first time since the movie "The Journalist." Kazutaka Iida, who has been in charge of popular Sunday Theater shows such as "Anti-Hero" (2024) and "VIVANT" (2023), is the producer.

"TBS AKASAKA COLLECTION produced by TGC" is the first collaboration between TGC and TBS, which are celebrating their 20th anniversary. In addition to the special stage of the Sunday Theatre "Mikami Sensei", there will be a stage for the popular morning program "Ravit!", a stage for "King's Brunch", and a stage for artists and models, and other impressive performers will appear, and the event will be held over two days, March 22nd and 23rd.
