Black Butler:Official PV for TV anime "Emerald Witch Arc" released. Opening theme by Laughing Sullivan Co shu Nie feat. HYDE and ending theme by Ryugujo unveiled

The official trailer for Black Butler : The Emerald Witch Arc, the sequel to Black Butler Black Butler : Public School Arc , an anime series based on Yana Toboso 's manga, has been released on YouTube. In addition to Ciel Phantomhive and Sebastian Michaelis, it also features a smiling Sieglinde Sullivan and an angry Wolfram.

The PV features the opening theme (OP) "MAISIE" sung by HYDE, the vocalist of the bands Co shu Nie and L'Arc~en~Ciel, and the ending theme (ED) "WALTZ" sung by the seven-member group Ryugujo, whose producer is Avu-chan from the band Queen Bee.

On April 5th, when the series begins airing, original stickers will be distributed at Animate stores. The distribution event will be held at the Ikebukuro main store (Toshima-ku, Tokyo) from 1pm.

"Black Butler" is a manga that has been serialized in "Monthly G Fantasy" (Square Enix) since September 2006. Set in the prestigious British aristocratic family, the Phantomhive family, the story depicts the exploits of Sebastian, the perfect butler who serves his spoiled 13-year-old master, Ciel.

The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2008 to March 2009, followed by "Black Butler II" from July to September 2010 and "Black Butler Book of Circus" from July to September 2014. The movie version, "Black Butler Book of the Atlantic", was released in January 2017. A live-action movie starring Hiro Mizushima and Ayame Goriki was also released in 2014. The series has sold over 35 million copies in total.

The new TV anime series "Black Butler : Public School Arc", the first in about 10 years, aired from April to June 2024.
